Neil and Melissa,
I was shocked to hear about Jerrel just yesterday. I feel as though part of my heart is gone. She has been my forever friend for over 33 years and I know our lives will never be the same without her. I am so grateful for the recent times that I was blessed to have with her. To Neil, I can't imagine your pain. Be strong you are in my prayers. Melissa, you too are like a big sister to me and I don't know what to say to possibly console you. Know that I love you and if you need anything please call me. Jerrel - I will always love you with all my heart and soul, Rest in Peace with MaMa my Angel.

Our prayers are with you Neil. I will always treasure the memories of the time we spent with Jerrel and will remember her laughter and that smile. RIP our "imaginary" daughter. You will be greatly missed.

Neil, I am your cousin Celeste Loyd from Houma. I have not seen you in a while but your Mom and I grew up close as children. Know that you and Jerrel have been in our prayers and Masses since we heard the tragic news. I am so sorry we will not beable to be there on Thursday but we will continue to pray that you feel Gods love walking with you. Stay close to Him and He will see you through it all.

I did not personally know Jerrel, but was told of her through Cecile Burr, and am so sorry for her loss. It has been a great loss to all those who loved her, and she will be sorely missed.
