Jerri Lynn Oborn

I am grieved to discover on this first day of General Conference, April 3, 2021, that Elder Oborn’s good wife, Jerri, passed away in 2019.
Elder Herb Oborn was beloved in the Smith family, formerly of Basildon, Essex, UK, where he served his mission. Elders Oborn and Lynne Leatham were companions in our town. We have many great memories. Today, I live in Eagle, Idaho.

I went to school with Jerry. She was a kind sweet person who always had a smile and a kind word to say. She was truly one of the "good ones". As a friend and a student she was always there and excelled in everything she did. I really feel privileged to have known her and be called a friend.
I am so sorry for your loss as a family I hope you feel the comfort that comes from knowing what a wonderful person your mom was.

We wish to express our love and condolences to Herb and Jeri's children. We have known them for so many years and have many fond memories of all the wonderful times we spent together. Jeri was such a kind and loving beautiful lady. May you find some peace and comfort in the coming days knowing she is happy and at peace herself! Sending love to you all!
