I felt honored to call Jerrie as well as Fred my friend. I have fond memories of assisting he maintenance of several of their homes over the years. I will always cherish them attending parties at my home. I will truly miss our friendship. Big hug, Maurice Ivey

It was a great honor to get to know Jerrie just as she was finishing her masterful book "A Girl Named Carrie, The Visionary Who Created Neiman Marcus and Set the Standard for Fashion." She was deeply intelligent, creative and thoughtful -- and she clearly made the world a better place with her grace, style and empathy. Sincere condolences and best wishes to her incredibly talented daughter Allison and the entire family.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
