Not sure what to say?

Dr Becker saved my life as well in 1972 Performing the 1st surgery every of its kind on me. I would see him well past pediatric age for check up and just because I loved seeing him.. He always called me his little princess.. Great Man !!!

Thank you to all who have posted these messages. I am super proud of my dad for many reasons, one of which, was his commitment to his patients. He was an old fashioned doctor in the best sense of the phrase. The health and wellbeing of the children he cared for was so important to him and he would be so happy to read these posts. Wishing you all continuted health and peace.

I´m just hearing of Dr. Beckers passing, he saved my sons life 43 years ago, besides being a wonderful surgeon he was so compassionate to my family during the hardest part of our lives. He lived a hero´s life, we will always remember him. Sending love, Rosemary Herger

Phyllis, Norma, Michael, I loved your parents. Here they are at my sister's wedding. Rae and my dad and Jerry and my sister and her new husband. I have stories that my parents shared about living above them in Clearview at young vets. But traveling 3+ decades into the future when we really had the thinnest of threads holding us together, I called Jerry for a Dr. for my very sick newborn. The call traveled through time on Jerry's profound loyalty and honor and I new as soon as I spoke to him...

I was born with a very rare birth defect and my parents took me to a number of surgeons who were unable to come up with a functional surgery for my issue...until we met Dr. Becker. My parents always tell me stories about when I was a newborn, the surgery and ultimately how Dr. Becker saved my life. When I was 12 years old I wanted to play ice hockey and Dr. Becker came out of retirement to look at how I was developing and gave me the okay to play ice hockey which I still play today at age...

He saved my life. May his family be comforted. The hills here in Jerusalem cry out in mourning for this great man David Baker (operated on by Dr. Becker in 1962 and 1964).

He saved my life as a child, postponing an important trip to India in order to perform lifesaving surgery on me. He was a great doctor and a humble man.
