Not sure what to say?

Very tragic. I am forever grateful to this man I have never met who sacrificed it all for the citizens of our state. This man is true hero. Thank you sir for your sacrifice to our country.

I was one year behind Jere at Jesuit and followed him to the Naval Academy where he protected me as though I was his little brother. I marvelled at his capability to do well within the military structure and yet never take too seriously many of its odd requirements. A trustworthy man and every man's friend. Even though I have not seen him since his shoved off for the Marines that June day in 1973, I'm a lessened by his passing and enobled by his memory.

Mrs. Michele, Angele, Effie, Bear, Henry, and Emily,
I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Jerrold. I lost my dad a few months ago so we can somewhat understand the pain you must all be going through. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.

and the Temento family

Michele,
I just heard of my former USNA room mates passing and am deeply sadened. May God grant you and your family peace at this difficult time.

Effie, Miss Michele, and family,
My mother read about it in the paper and called me...I am so sorry that such a wonderful family is dealing with another tragic loss. My thoughts and prayers are always with you.

Dear Peterson family,

I am truly sorry for your loss. Please accept my most sincere sympathy and know that you are in my prayers during this difficult time.

I worked with "Colonel Jerry" to bring the Marine Corps Reserve Officer's Association's annual conference to New Orleans in 2002 and 2003. In working with him, I was struck by his graciousness, charm, quick wit, and outgoing personality.

He was a good man, and will be missed.

Semper Fidelis,
Maj Tom...

Effie,
You know how much we love you and that we are with you during this very difficult time. Our deepest condolences to you and your family.
All our love,
Jessica Diamond & Jarred Rey
