Not sure what to say?

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Jerrys wife and family.
Although Jerry and I lost contact over the years, I have never forgotten the great times we had as kids growing up in Tallahassee.
From playing war with all of his war surplus equip. to eating the fresh donuts his mother and father cooked in their shop on Monroe st. to seeing the movie, THE THING, together. all he had to do to get me moving was to open a door and hollar, THE THING, which he did often. The bicycle ride in...

Emily, Connie, Jerry, Carol and family - I am so sorry for your tremendous loss. I have such special memories as a child of being in Pahokee watching Mr. Arline in the weight room training or working on his martial arts or even spending time at the beach at Indian River Plantation. Spending time with your family has created so many memories that I can reflect on. My prayers go out to all of you; please know that I am thinking of you all.
Love,
Cristina

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Arline's passing. When I heard the news my mind was flooded with so many good memories as a child in Pahokee. We all had such good times together...Indian River Plantation, football games, the rabbit man story, lock-ins at Pahokee UMC, etc!! I could go on and on! I always loved spending time at your home with you all and will always cherish those memories. May God fill you all with peace during this time of great loss.
Love,
Kim Griffis Cagle

I am so thankful that Rob and I got to visit with Jerry, Connie, and Jerry J last Tuesday. Jerry was optimistic and positive even then. I was especially glad to be able to tell him how special he has always been to Sarah, Laura, Rob, and Amy Jo. While he was an intimidating athletic opponant & marksman, he also had a real heart for children. Love to all, Jo

Jerry, aka " Mr Cream Puff " was a legend to the guys from the old PBSO swat team from back in the day. Out here in the Glades, we still talk about him and his training methods.
Our hearts go out to his family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Good bye Mr. Arline and God Bless.

Carol & Family: Jerry and I worked many years at Glades C.I. Although we may not have always agreed on things we learned to respect each other and worked together as a Team. I will never forget him buying me my first "banana split" after passing an ACA Audit. When I went into security in 1975 after being a secretary for four years, I had to go through the training and Jerry was so surprised that God gave me a natural talent for shooting the .38; however, Jerry taught me the correct way to...
