Not sure what to say?

Four years has gone by. Thanks for being there for me and my family. You and Joan where a great team.

My deepest condolences to the Badger family and friends who knew and loved him. Mr Badger was my troop leader and principal. Mr. Badger was a role model to me and everyone else he came into contact with. I will always remember fondly the canoe trips he led to Maine in the late 1980s with our Troop. All the packing of dry boxes, gear, tents, and gorp at his home before we headed out, boys, dads, and Mr. Badger leading the way. And he had the coolest canoe. When I earned my Eagle Scout award I...

I just saw this obituary recently when reviewing the Memories for Minnechaug. As a student in Jerry´s Honors Biology class, I really enjoyed his teaching and high standards. Always a merry person, he combined teaching with humor daily. We enjoyed his labs and field trips to local woods and ponds. The final exam was very difficult but prepared us for the Biology Achievement Test. That test was actually easier! I will never forget Mr. Badger and my condolences to the family. One of...

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

I just learned of Jerry's death. The Badgers were special to our family; Jerry was a true role model for me as I grew up. We shared time with the Badgers in Maine (Moose Pond and Goose Rocks) , visited with Jerry when he was a student at Mt. Herman and participated with him in Boy Scouts. Because of him I developed an interest and applied to Bates College. My parents were close friends of Jerry's. I can still hear Jerry playing the accordian. Two of his favorite songs were "Lady of Spain"...

My perfect american father during one of the best years in my life at Wilbraham 1983-84! Simply awesome. Or terrific as he used to say.

Our family benefited greatly from the wise advice, mentoring and friendship of Mr. Badger. My father Joe had the upmost respect for Jerry´s leadership skills and always caring approach as Minnechaug Principal and as a scout leader. My two brother John, Jeff and I interacted with Jerry in the worlds of scouting and school. He made a positive impact in all that he touched in our lives and the lives of thousands of other young people. The Minnechaug High School he ran in Wilbraham may not have...

Jerry was a special person. Myself and my family owe him and his family a great debt. The world will not be the same without him. He will be remembered kindly by myself and the Class of 1977

I first came to know Jerry at Scout Camp Woronoak before we were teenagers. He was a standout achiever and leader even then! We went our separate ways until, years later, June and I enrolled our kids in Wilbraham schools and our son joined Troop 177. Jerry became a dear friend and mentor to the four of us; through the Minnechaug years that both Amy and Andy enjoyed and grew from, the scouting years that he shepherded Andy and me through, and the two generation family friendship that has...
