Not sure what to say?

Jerry, Adam did a fantastic job at the Memorial - you would have been proud. Have been thinking of the fishing trip we went on and all the fun we had. You always brought laughter along with you. Miss you always.

I am still in shock as Jerry was my childhood, growing up and adult friend. We had tremendous fun times together for over 50 years. He was a wonderful part of my life and I will miss him always.

Jerry - Your mischievous smile, and head on approach to life, invigorated everyone. Because of you, I stopped wearing polyester. Your generous spirit, and willingness to try anything at least once, taught me to take questionable risks. I am so grateful to have known you, and my sympathies go out to Marie, Liz, Adam, Ania and their families. Without your laughter, the world is a quieter place.

I am very sorry to hear this sad news.

Battelstein's was a Houston tradition in my family. My grandmother and aunt worked there in the forties & fifties, and just loved it. It was my mom's favorite department store in Houston. She used to take my sisters and I shopping there for beautiful clothes several times a year. I have very fond memories shopping there, and remember how elegant the store was because they always carried the finest merchandise.

Please accept my...

My sincere condolences to your family. I hope that you may draw comfort from knowing that one day soon, death will no longer exist.

My deepest sympathies to the family. I worked at Battlestein's River Oaks in the Red Hanger Dept. in 1973. Sol Klinger was my boss. I remember those days fondly and thank the Battlestein's family for my first job opportunity in Houston. God Bless you all.
