Wonderful history teacher and loved him as my basketball coach.

My condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Berg. I am a former student of his. He touched all of us with his kindness, humor, and teaching ability.

I was one of the many who's life was changed by " Mr. Berg". I will be forever grateful for the blessing he was in my life at West Catholic. I was honored to be trusted as a babysitter for his family. This is such a beautiful tribute for a great man who made difference in this world. For you " who loved him most", may you be blessed during this most difficult time

Coach Berg was a tremendous coach and teacher at WCC. Loved playing for him, he always made it fun. Just a great guy. My deepest condolences to his family.

I will never forget the impact this man had on my life. He was a Godsent gift to me. He helped me to navigate some challenging years & then called me up to use me victories to help pull other's up as well. I served as a peer counselor for 3-4years. He had such an impact that when I was on the homecoming court, he stood by my side as a father-like figure. Jerry, I thank God for you. Mr Berg was an amazing teacher, he made math class fun, his was one class I never missed.
