Jerry was an incredible person, and he will be missed for a long time.I will always love him.

I wasn't sure what to say when I heard about Jerry dying. He was like my other Grampa and I loved him very much! There is no doubt that I was sad when I found out about his death but I also knew that he is now in a happy place. We all know, though it may be hard to realize, that he is happy and with our other family. I will never forget Grampa's amazing smile that would brighten any day! I love you Grampa!! R.I.P. I will will always be thinking of you!

Well, where can I start. Papa was the most kindest hearted person I have ever met. He brought joy and warmth to EVERYONE he ever met, and I am honored that I was one of them. I love him so very much, and that will never cease. I wrote a mini novel to follow that previous sentence but I erased it because nothing can say what I am about to say better than the phrase itself. Jerry was not part of my "real" family but I have always thought of him as "Grampa... Aunt Lauri's dad." He was a great man with a heart of gold. He always did his best to make all of the children happy, and his stories were the best! He would come out of his room and have these stories that made us all just laugh. He will be missed by many people, he was great to be around. We all loved him.
Love you Grampa Jerry, you will never be forgotten!

I like everyone else am very sorry for the loss of this great man. He was an extended family member to the Espeland family but he never treated us like we werent as special as his "real" grandchildren. He had a huge heart and loved his ramen noodles! The few times that we got to visit with him because of a visit to our Aunt Laurie and Uncle Tom's house he just made us feel so welcome and made us all smile. It was a wonderful experience being able to share that time with such a great person.

My most vivid memory of Uncle Jerry, is when I used to go to Vegas with my girlfriends, and we'd stay at the Stardust. We would always get dressed up to go out for the evening, and go to the Poker room to visit Jerry before we went out. He used to say that all of his friends and co-workers there asked him who all these young girls were that would come visit him all the time. He would proudly tell him "That's my neice!" From what I remember, he also made one hell of a Malted Milkshake! I am...

Hey everyone! Sorry it's taken me so long to write in this guest book but I have been very sad and upset but now I think it's time that I write in my papas guest book.

Jerry Berkowitz is my most favorite person in the world and always will be! He is my papa and my world and I love him dearly. He passed away on my 17th birthday and I'm sure it was for a good reason, although I will may never know! I miss him more then words could say but I know now that he is in a much better...
