To Mrs. Bern and family,

My deepest condolences to your family on Mr. Bern's passing. I was blessed to know your family and to be able to spend so many dinners and visits at your house as a teenager back on the 70's. Mr. Bern was a charming man, with a quick and wonderful wit. With always a smile and a wink, he loved and lived life to the fullest.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

Dear Bern Family,

You are in our thoughts and prayers this morning. I have many wonderful memories of Jerry Sr. at the store and at the lovely Thanksgiving dinners we celebrated at your home while we lived in Chicago.
