Not sure what to say?

Jerry was a "pros pro". Professional and courteous. I will always remember the times when we worked together on high definition projects for WFAA Channel 8. Those projects are how I got to know Jerry. I was a freelance video editor for HD Vision in the late 90s. Jerry was a pleasure to work with because he made me comfortable from the start when working on these projects and welcomed input as things would go along. That is a rare trait that made me feel very much like a part of the Channel 8...

May God grant all of Jerry´s family peace & comfort - I will forever have fun & fond memories of Jerry! He was such a kind soul!

I got to know Jerry in the late 90s working on HD projects with him for WFAA. He always made me feel like a part of his team when I edited for Jerry even though I was a freelance video editor at that time for HD Vision. He was a client but he made me feel so comfortable with him and he always solicited my opinions and suggestions as we worked on various HD projects. From that time forward he always greeted me with great respect and kindness when we would "cross paths" at gatherings of TV...

Jerry was a Town North neighbor for many years and until his final day -- and we were all shocked and deeply saddened to learn of his passing. We knew him mostly through his sweet old pup Rambo, as they made daily circles around the neighborhood to sniff and explore. You can get to know a person by how well they care for their pet -- and all of the kind words attributed to Jerry were evident in his care for Rambo - who was encouraged to meet and greet all two-legged and four/legged neighbors...

A true friend in every way, on the job and off. Love you Jerry!

Simply the best describes Jerry! One of the nicest people I have ever known! Seeking some old video, I reconnected with Jerry recently and it was a great pleasure! We talked several times and reminisced about the good ole days, it was very, very special! Peace be with the family!

Simply the best sums up Jerry! I was in touch with him recently to get help on a project which required video from my time at Ch. 8! It was like no time had passed since I last saw him! It was wonderful to reconnect! The world has lost a gem!

It is true: to know him was to love him. He was the best of us.

Always calm, kind and cool under pressure. Not easy in a newsroom.
