Not sure what to say?

Jerry was the original "Captain Crunch" from his strong safety position. I remember when he hit someone it was so hard his helmet would turn sideways!! He was also a golfing buddy at VCC and his firm successfully defended me a couple of times when I was principal of Erwin high school. Truly a great Christian American and friend

Jerry was such a kind and gentle man. He is still missed by so many. We still love you, Jerry.

So sorry for your loss. Jerry was a wonderful person. Have wonderful memories : neighbors , when our boys were growing up. Will continue to keep you in our thoughts and prayers Much love ,Rebecca and Lee

So sorry to learn of Jerry´s passing. Our thoughts & prayers are with the Colvin family.

Oh what a blessing the entire Colvin family was to our very young and inexperienced family. We were blessed to share a time with you. Our prayers are with you all as you continue on without him here. May every memory bring you joy and May the God of all comfort bring you comfort.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Jerry is one of the kindest persons I have ever known. He was so encouraging to talk with and will be greatly missed.

Jerry always treated me with respect and kindness; he was a great example of the "Golden Rule."

Deepest Condolences from your work family.
