Gerald L. Conner, 59, passed away surrounded by his family on February 27, 2013. A memorial mass will be held Saturday, March 2 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Irish Settlement Catholic Church, 3396 - 155th Street, Cumming, Iowa. He was born May 21, 1953 in Des Moines.
Gerald is survived by his partner, Jeane Nible of Des Moines; children: Jennifer (John) Mennenga of Norwalk, Dylan (Amy) Conner of Peru, and Jacob (Ashley) Conner of Stuart; grandchildren, Kyle Mennenga, Gabe, Cash, Chevy Luv, Rhiley, and Jerilynn Conner, and a baby to be born in July; siblings: Tom, Denny, Debra Nicholson, Mike, Joe, Lori Brown and Andy Conner; and mother, Shirley Johnson. He is preceded in death by his father, Austin T. Conner.
Flowers may be delivered to Brooks Funeral Care, 7975 University Blvd, Clive, by 2:30 p.m. Friday. Memorials may be made to the Animal Rescue League.
