Not sure what to say?

Late night conversations with a man I felt I knew my whole life. When I grow up I would be just as humble and kind as Jerry. I will see you on the other side my brother in Jesus Christ. Blessings to you and your entire family.

So sorry to hear this. One of my favorite memories growing up was riding around with the guys in the suburban listening to Jerry tell old football stories. What a great example he was to all of Chip's friends as we were growing up. He will be missed.

So sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. A great athlete and friend for many years. You will be missed greatly by all whose lives you touched.

Jerry Cook was an inspiration to many young athletes growing up in Galena Park in the late 50's and early 60's. I will never forget those Friday nights at Dement Stadium when thousands of people witnessed great performances by one of it's most beloved sons.
But what made Jerry special was his humility and thankfulness for those who supported him and his teammates. Jerry made everyone around him better.
Jerry set a standard for those who followed him at GP and at UT. He will be missed...

Mimi,
So sorry for you and your family, I have so
many fond memories of Jerry and Galena Park
High School. He was a fun guy and my prayers
are with you.

I had the pleasure of meeting and playing golf with Jerry many years ago at QVCC. He was such a warm and funny guy as were all the Cook guys. My deepest sympathy to all the Cook family.

MIMI WE ARE SO SORRY TO READ OF THE
PASSING OF JERRY. WE HAD A LOT OF GREAT
MEMORIES WITH YOU AND JERRY. BLESS YOU
AND YOUR FAMILY.

Jerry was a larger than life Friday Night Hero at Galena Park High School and a star at UT. I was fortunate to work for Jerry at Builders Supply Company and his love for God was something I will always remember Thanks for the memories Jerry
