Jerry was the friend that everyone should get to experience in their lives. Never-ending joy, FUN, love, respect, encouragement, compassion, and dedication were some of the characteristics of who Jerry was and by which he shall forever be remembered. Served with Jerry in England for 3 years. through your life you meet people that your blessed to call friend. I'm a better person to be able to say that about Jerry. Always laughing and a razor sharp quick wit he made everyone around him just have a good time. Great 2nd basemen could hit the ball were ever he wanted and could deal off the bottom without anyone knowing unless he wanted you too and for his friends he was always quick with a wink and nod to let you know who was going to win. jerry was my high school class mate just two months older and a tenacious fullback on the soccer team. I am sad to lose another friend from the old days but glad he's in a far better land running like he used to on the streets of gold. My deepest condolences to his family.
