My son and I met Jerry at a hunter safety class in Nampa, Idaho. He invited my family to join him at his church in Caldwell, where he was pastoring. Jerry and I had several conversations about fishing, hunting and the church. I recall him asking the kids in the hunter safety class what a certain part was on his rifle.
