Just came across Jerry's obituary. I remember him well. We are first cousins. His father and my father were brothers. We lived in Mobile and occasionally visited with the Grand Bay relatives. My condolences to his family.

I have just learned of Jerry's passing as I visited the Biloxi Farmer's Market this morning.I always made Jerry my first stop and I relied on him for the very best of what was offered at our market. I depended on his advice on buying and preparing produce and considered him the pillar of my farmer's market shopping. So many memories that I will treasure for a life time. I will miss seeing him walking up to my parents back door as he has done my whole life. All the words of advise and the many adventures that living near his livestock & gardens brought into my childhood. He will be greatly missed by me.

I will surely miss Mr. Jerry. He was my favorite pecan cracking customer. I have missed seeing him the last couple of years at Mosley's Pecans, but have known him for years. I will miss seeing him at the Fleamarket and the wonderful sweet greens that he grew. He will always be in my memories. God's peace to his family and friends. He was a wonderful, kind, and respectful man.
