Not sure what to say?

I am saddened to hear of Jerry's passing. He will be dearly missed. He could always bring a smile to my face with his quick wit and the twinkle in his eye. I will always have fond memories of him.

Jeanna, We were so sorry to hear of your loss. Mark and I both lost our fathers in the last few years and we miss them dearly. We cheer ourselves up by remembering the good times we had and all the things are dads taught us about life. We are lifting you up in prayer and hope to see you again soon. You really made me laugh in Charlotte. Love, Mark and Kellie Burnup

I had the pleasure of knowing Jerry for about the past 10 years. He was my customer at Crazy D's in Goose Creek. I always loved to listen to his stories and he always made me smile with his introduction as "I'm Jerry Derryberry from Newberry,Sc." He convinced me that the squirrels that were driving me crazy in my attic where just big rodents with tails and that I shouldn't feel bad about exterminating them....He was there for my family when we lost our son 2 years ago and told us one day he...

I worked with Jerry at Terminix and wanted to express my heartfelt sympathy to Jerry’s family. Jerry was always an inspiration to everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him. May your wonderful memories of him bring you comfort day by day.

I am so sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. I am however thankful he was so close to you all. In the past years whenever I would see him, he'd have a few stories of the "Grands" to share, with a great big smile. My condolences are with you all.

Words can't describe the fun we've had with Jerry through the years, especially with the N.C. Lions Club. We've been friends for over 30 years. His wit and fun-loving personality will always be with us. He was so proud of his daughter and grandchildren; bragged about them constantly. Life dealt Jerry some bad hands, but he never complained. We loved him, and offer our heartfelt sympathy. Dr. Mike and Pegge Schall
