Not sure what to say?

To the dear family of Jerry (forever Mr. Eisman to us), I join my note with the many class members of Martin Luther school during 1971 and 1974. It's amazing that during our recent reunion, how many times our beloved teacher's name came up. We all remember your loving husband, dad and grandfather with such fondness it brings tears to my eyes and touches my heart. I can only imagine how wonderful he was to all of you, if a little girl from 1971 remembers his smile, his laugh and his heart...

Mr. Eisman was a wonderful man and inspiring and kind teacher. I also had him many years ago at Martin Luther, very early in his teaching career. I am sure he will be greatly missed by his family and loved ones. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Kathy,

Jerry was such a blessing to our family. We will always be grateful for the quiet leadership and Godly example Jerry was to our children while he was principal, teacher and coach at St. John's Midland.

May God's blessing of grace support you and your family during this difficult time.

Kathy and family, Jerry was a wonderful Christian man and one of the kindest teachers at Martin Luther School. He will never be forgotten by anyone who knew him. Caring thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Kathy and kids! I am in Panama and have heard of Jerry's passing from death to life. I don't know what to say . . . Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers and I will come to see you as soon as I get home. Jerry is a Shepherd, an example of how to live and how to treat others, even those who treated him badly. I will continue to strive to be like him as he served his chuch and school families, and His Lord and Savior. Tammy Hyatt
