Jerry Floyd

Knew Jerry from Ford Motor Credit and First United Methodist Church of Pensacola. He was a mentor and did so much for the community. Pat, he spoke so fondly of you and know how much he loved being a Dad to you, Courtney. So sad to that I only found out about this today. To Pat and Courtney, please accept my condolences. Jerry embodied the best of us. Hope he´s enjoying his 64 Stingray and enjoying the rewards of a life well lived

I apologize for not knowing about or seeing this earlier as this last month has honestly been in all honesty, very hazy.
Speaking as Jerry's daughter, I so appreciate the kind words you have stated about my Daddy. He is such a kind, loving and gracious man and such a wonderful person to grow-up with.
He taught me so many lessons, passed on his sense of humor, shared his gratitude and his honest and genuine love for other people and JOY for life.

So sorry for your loss. Jerry sold me a home in Ft. Walton, Fl a few years ago. We developed a friendship and had many lunches & phone calls together. Jerry had one of those personalites that showed true warmth and sincerity. He will truely be missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Jerry was a great man. He will be deeply missed.
