My name is Cheryl Gay Hickman and I just read a letter Mr Floyd wrote my father in 1970 and I wanted to say that my father thought so much of him and the letter he wrote my father was so wonderful. RIP Mr Floyd

I lost one of my best friends. Hardly a day went by that we did not exchange emails of which I have saved many of his best.

Jerry, my wife Wanda and I used to play music together and enjoyed many evenings and meals together. Jerry was a great guitar player and was so much fun to jam with. We even played a couple of gigs together. We have many great memories of him and Elaine. We just found out tonight when we tried to contact him after losing touch. We will truely miss him.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of true saddness. my papa Cecil Jones will be playing in heaven with Jerry.

I am truly sorry for Jerry's passing. We were picking buddies and spent a lot of picking time gether . Jerry was very talanted with pictures and art work on the computer. He visited my home many times and we enjoyed our music. I will miss him very much.

Jerry was a wonderful and longtime friend and pickin buddy of mine, It was a very sad day when I heard of his passing. His friendship meant a lot to me and will be missed. His family will be in our prayers in this time of sadness.
