Not sure what to say?

Eric I was so saddened to hear of Jerry's (Babe)passing. He was such a wonderful friend not only in Ice Capades but continuing throughout the years. Many laughs and special moments. Carolyn Hartling Michaels

My thoughts and prayers to Jerry's friends and family. We skated together in Ice Capades and I will always remember Jerry's fun side as he gave us laughs and was always there to be a friend.

Jerry will be remembered as a very talented man with a great heart. He was such a fun loving person who will be missed. I have so many great memories of Jerry during my Ice Capades days. Thank you Jerry.

Having skated with Jerry in Ice Capades, it was a very sad day to hear of his death. My prayers go out to all his family and to Eric. May God Bless all of you and be with you during these trying times. Jerry will certainly be missed by many.

My heartfelt condolences to Jerry's family and partner Eric. I sk8d with Jerry in Ice Capades and we have remained friends ever since. Jerry was kind, thoughtful, fun and loyal. When I got married he hemmed my wedding dress when he worked at Warner Bros.....God forbid I would go to any alterationist! Jerry always did things big (to match his heart) for the holidays which he loved. At Xmas time he had a Xmas tree in every room of his house. On Halloween he made incredible costumes for himself...

Jerry 2011

Hi Mary Ann,

I wanted to tell you how sorry I am about Jerry. He lead such a wonderful and exciting life. I remember working Saturday mornings at the restaurant and hour Mom's wonderful donuts. Those were the days!!

I hope you are doing well.

Sincerely,
Joanne Olson Hirshfield

Jerry and I used to ride our bikes all over downtown Galesburg and then stop in to his dad's lunch counter next to Sears' Roebuck for one of the best hamburgers in town. His grandmother used to make bread every other day and you could smell it cooling on the window blocks away. I will miss my cousin and my prayers are with his family.

I extend my thoughts and prayers for Jerry and to his family. I was in the same class in Galesburg as Jerry and we danced together in grade school at dance class. I wish I had know him later in life, What a fine man and he had an amazing life. May he be rejoicing now in heaven..
