Not sure what to say?

Our brother Jerry was a good and gentle man. It was always a blessing and a pleasure to spend time with him. We remember the love and regard that he had for all of our families. He enjoyed family reunions no matter in what state they were held. We all look forward to our final one in Heaven with all of our families. Betty & Rufus Christian, Sister and Brother-in-Law

Carol and family,
My memories of Uncle Jerry are his kind, gentle spirit. He was a great example of how we should all try to be with each other. Distances/localities can keep us apart but nothing can break the bonds of family. My greastest joy is knowing that through faith in Christ Jesus it is never goodby, just see you later. Love and prayers Steve F. Holstein.

Carol you and Jerry both have been such wonderful witnesses of our Lord. Jerry always had such a gentle loving spirit, he allowed the Holy Spirit to shine through him and that was always a blessing to those around him. We know that his mind and body are once again strong as he is home.
Love and Blessings to you all.

Carol and families;
My deepest sympathy goes to you all! Carol,you were such a loving devoted wife and caregiver to Jerry and i'm sure it was a small reflection on the life the two of you had together! You are a very strong woman.....you made sure that Jerry lived with dignity and respect! Please take care of yourself and find peace within yourself!

Jerry, Carol and I met at the church in Jackson, MI; that was winter '53-'54, where they attended and I interned.
We even lived together in the parsonage for some months and I remember Anita's first birthday, when she totally enjoyed an ice cream cone. Jerry was truly a sweet, gracious man who, all who knew, loved. Now we all live just 50 miles apart in IL.
Your hearts must be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life lived in God's blessing....

I remember the first time I saw Jerry, It was my first day of school at Fayetteville Elem. Fayetteville W.V. My aunts walked me to school and asked me to stand with Jerry's sister Betty until her bro. Jerry came and got her. I followed Betty and Jerry into the school. Our teacher taught the first and second grade. My aunts watched from the corner of the building to make sure I went inside. I remember Jerry all through our years in school. he always had a smile and very pleasant. Our prayers...

Most of my memories of Jerry were as a child. What a kind and happy man I remember. I didn't know this story until today; but, Jerry and Carol drove my Dad to West Virginia to move my Mom, Sister and me here to Jackson. While in WVa he let Dad drive his car so he could do what he needed to get done. Again, unselfish and giving . . .
Love and prayers to Carol and my cousins,
