Jerry was a breakfast buddy for a number of years. I am a relative newcomer to the community and Jerry´s stories about Muskegon past and present were a real history lesson. He seemed to know everyone by name. A good friend and we will certainly miss him.

I´m so very sorry for your loss. I loved Jerry. My prayers to you Carol and all the family. I wished I could have been at the service but was out of Michigan. If there is anything I can do for you, please reach out.

I've known Jerry for 50 years...worked on many a project, shared many a story, and had some wonderful breakfast discussions with him. He is a legend in the Muskegon printing industry. Everyone in the business, had a "Jerry Hopma" story. RIP, old friend.

Jerry was our dear neighbor for many years and a wonderful friend of my father, Dave Kennedy. He was such a kind man, and always made for sure that the neighbors were well taken care of. We will miss seeing him driving by in his van, always waving as he passed by. Prayers to his family , friends and neighbors who loved him.
