Not sure what to say?

I am sorry to hear about your loss, but am assured that I will see Mr. Huizenga face-to-face again in heaven. I had Mr. Huizenga as a social studies teacher in 8th grade. He was a good teacher and very kind to me. I also remember the field trip to his muck farm, where I ate my first radish. I have liked them ever since. He lived a good life many should model.

So very sorry to find out about Jerry's passing. What a day of rejoicing for him.We will see him again when God calls us home. Our sincerest Christian sympathy. Lovingly, Ken and Pat 7'sma Diekevers

Joyce and family, My condolences for your loss. I have many good memories from my years working with Jerry at Godfrey. Good lunch conversations and lots of laughs. Jerry was serious about his vocation, but still had a kind and fun approach. You were blessed to be a part of his life.

Sympathy to all of you in your loss. So many fond memories of Jerry.

We are grateful for the many memories of times spent together when we all lived in Grand Rapids. Praying that God will continue to support and comfort Joyce and the family during this time of sorrow and loss. Rest in peace in God's loving care, Jerry.

Jerry and Joyce have been friends with my parents for as long as I can remember, so I mourn the loss for Joyce and the whole family. Jerry has been a "good and faithful servant"; he is with his savior now. I pray for God's peace and saving work in the lives of everyone Jerry has impacted over the years.

We are so sorry to hear of Jerry´s passing. We enjoyed our many conversations with him over the years. We appreciated him allowing many neighborhood children, including our son work the muck farm picking strawberries. Jerry will be deeply missed by many. The entire Huizenga family has our deepest condolences.

Condolences to his family. Mr Huizenga was a good man with the ability to engage even the most reluctant students while teaching. He took pride in his farm skill of bending at the waist and touching the floor with the palms of his hands! Mr. Huizenga , you made a difference.
