Not sure what to say?

Jerry

So many special memories and they grow more special to me with each passing day! Your laugh and smile enters my mind often. You seem to be everywhere these days as I am reminded of you when I see a bear, deer, squirrel, Turkey, snake, butterfly, cicadas, birds, pictures of the boys fishing at the creek, sunshine and thunderstorms, and sitting in the building. In a way Im wishing you were here right now and in another way Im happy for you that you are in a sweet place with not a care in the...

Still think about you & remember what a big part you were in my childhood. Especially the good times we had playing baseball with the rest of the neighborhood. Love & miss you always. Your Cuz

Jerry,
When your Mom passed away, you were already a grown man.
She was already so very proud of "her boy".
With her watching you from above, the Heavens could not have begun to contain her pride as she watched you grow into the man you became--including a father, a granddaddy, and a friend to so many.
May you now be united with your Mother in Heaven.
God Bless and Keep You.
I'll miss you!
Love,
...

I know Jerry will be terribly missed by many. My thoughts and prayers will continue to be with all whom were close to Jerry during this difficult time. God bless....

Chrisy, Ang and Brenda, my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult and sad time. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help any of you. Love, Yvonne

Christy, Ang, & Brenda,

Words cannot begin to say how sorry I am for your loss. Although Jerry has gone to his Heavenly home, his memories will continue to live on in the stories, teachings, and love you share with those around you. I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers and you know that I am only a telephone call away if there is anything you need. I love you all!

Jerry helped me run all the shotgun matches for the rifle club for at least 12 years.I've never had so much fun!! We traveled all over the state shooting skeet, and I couldn't have had a better friend. Jerry was the brother I never had. I loved him, and I
miss him already.

To the family of Jerry Jenkins,
I first met him in 1981 when he became a Virginia Hunter Education Instructor in a class I was helping teach. I remember going to help with his first class, and when he completed giving his first instruction, he sat down next to me and exclaimed "I was so nervous and my mouth is so dry I couldn't spit on myself if I was on fire". He remained active in the program for many years and became a first class instructor. No one will ever know how many lives he...

To Jerry's girls and "grandbabies",

Ray and I extend our sympathy to you on the untimely death of your father. I have enjoyed the stories you tell about this unique man. We all can add our own stories and special memories.

I am deeply touched by the way you all have handled Jerry's 15-week ordeal. Thank you for the time-consuming writings giving us all a peek into Jerry's struggles - never giving up when most of us would.

His farm and outdoor world will always...
