Janet, it has been many years since you were my student at Baker, and I hope you remember me. I was surprised to read of your husband's death in the newspaper and again on the Prayer List at First United Methodist Church where I attend. I just wanted you to know my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I'll miss his quick sense of humor. Those conversations in the hall of the Brown-Heatly were often short but meant something to me.

I have great memories of visiting with with Uncle JT, Aunt Hazel, Jerry and Sharon on the farm in Commanche. The times I spent there were some of the best. I am so sorry we didn't get to visit with Jerry after we were grown. He will always be 13 in my mind.
