Jerry N. Keil

So sad to hear about the passing of a true legend. My days at UT as a part-time student assistant and then full-time member of the sports information staff were much more enjoyable because of Jerrys kindness, support, encouragement and genuine friendship. His humor and humanity made every moment with him a pure joy.

Rest in peace Jerry. Thanks for the memories and your friendship.

Jerry was such a nice guy and character. We were neighbors for 20 years. Just thinking about him makes us smile. Our deepest sympathy to Sharon and family in their time of loss.

I used to work in the Tournament Office for all of the PBA (Bowling) events at Imperial Lanes. Jerry was very devoted to covering the tournament, and he would spend hours in our office waiting for stories and results. He was fun, funny, and very entertaining. He sure made the waiting time go fast with all of his entertaining stories!

Jerry was such a great guy! I was lucke to be at UT Rocket back in the day and I got to know him and have a decades-long friendship with him. A true Rocket despite his bgsu roots! Rest in peace Jerry. Throw one in from the elbow!
