Mr. Kerley- The light in any and every room. My mother, Barbara worked with him for many years at George Hall. He saw my sister and brother through school there and I had the pleasure of growing up under his wing as well. Their crew at George Hall was a family. I can still remember helping him clean his classroom for the Summer and talking to him about puppies! He was always warm, gentle and full of laughs. He cut no corners and was such a radiant human being. The world could learn so much...

Life is but a Stopping Place Life is but a stopping place, A pause in what's to be, A resting place along the road, to sweet eternity. We all have different journeys, Different paths along the way, We all were meant to learn some things, but never meant to stay... Our destination is a place, Far greater than we know. For some the journey's quicker, For some the journey's slow. And when the journey finally ends, We'll claim a great reward, And find an everlasting peace, Together with the Lord

R.I.P dear cousin. I remember how kind and generous that you always were. I remember years ago when my daddy was in a hospital in Mobile having heart bypass surgery, Jerry dropped everything to be with our family. He was warm and loving and a great comfort to us all. My father was his Uncle Paul Kerley. My sympathy to family and friends that loved and admired him greatly.

It's sad that my wife Mary Ann has no understanding that she has lost both of her brothers that she dearly loved. Circumstances dictate that this message by me expressing her love is the only avenue to offer condolences to the significant people and many friends in Jerry's life. I know that all will understand our absence from the service.
