I really got to know Jerry well when we organized a fast-pitch softball team at IBM. He was the best pitcher we had and helped us win 7 championships. A good friend and co-worker, I'll miss Jerry very much.

I worked with Jerry at IBM for many years. As a young System's Engineer he always had time to answer my questions and he always had positive outlook. I'm sorry to hear about his passing. I have him and his family in my prayers.

Jerry worked for IBM as a Systems Engineer in Grand Rapids, MI during the time that I was Branch Manager there. He was an excellent representative for the company who had the ultimate respect from his customers for his technical skills and business integrity. Equally important, he was everybody's friend.
