Heartfelt Condolences Arrangement- BASKET INCLUDED

Jerry King was a very good person, always upbeat, a consummate professional and an excellent teacher. We were (distant) colleagues at Lehigh, Jerry in mathematics and me in accounting. On campus Jerry was always well-dressed and looked like he just emerged from
Gentlemen's Quarterly. We lived in the same neighborhood for many years and I often saw him running. I will miss him.

I was sadden to hear of Dr. King’s passing. He was a great inspiration to me in my academic career at Lehigh, which has concluded almost 40 years ago now.

I can still remember I once turned in a homework assignment for my advanced analysis class, that I had hastily put together very late the night before, just to hand something in. After all this time, I’m not sure why I found myself in those circumstances, but I do recall that it was not uncommon, and my grades reflected it. ...

It was a pleasure knowing Jerry King. Seeing him run around campus rain or shine was an inspiration for a healthy life. His smile and humor, even when things seemed to get out of control, was a reassurance that there is always a good enough solution to problems.
My students always had very good things to say about his classes.
May his memory be eternal, as we say in the Eastern church.
My sincere condolences to his family.

As a freshman, I had the great fortune to have Prof. King both for lecture and recitation in Math 22 (second semester calculus). He was great as a lecturer, but in recitation is where he really shone. When we entered the recitation classroom, there was always something on the blackboard from the prior class. Although the subject of the class that used the room before us was different on different days of the week, it never happened to be a math class. Dr. King would slowly erase the...

I had the pleasure of meeting Jerry and Jane briefly about fifteen years ago. as he wound down his career at Lehigh. He made a powerful impact. A remarkable and wonderful guy. In one of his books he points out that Math isn't something you study, it's something you do. Jerry did a lot of things besides Math, things that would naturally interest a first rate intellect. Sincerely condolences to the King family and to Jerry's many colleagues and friends.
