Read MoreMrs. King was my first-grade teacher at Huffman Elementary in 1971-72. Her love, encouragement, and commitment were palpable, even to a 6-year-old. I recall her with love and gratitude. I am saddened by her passing but still warmed by the love she showed me over half a century ago.
