Not sure what to say?

When I was a very young man in the early 1980s, I worked at the Queen Mary/Spruce Goose entertainment venue. I was seated across from Jerry’s office and near Sharon’s desk and we all worked together quite closely, if not exactly on the same projects, to say the least. That I somehow actually found myself thinking about those days at the QM and then looking on-line for information about Jerry and Sharon speaks volumes about how impressive they were. As a colleague Jerry was personable,...

My husband and I came to California with the staff from his office. Jerry surprised us, rented a van and took everyone on a tour of the Vinyards. Who does such a thing for people any more and then on my birthday he cooked this awesome dinner, Spaghetti and seafood. I will never forget that dinner It was awesome. He and my husband are now together in heaven talking about the Thompsen girls they married. Those were the days! We thought they'd never end.

It is six years since Jerry passed. He may not be here on the physical plane but he is always present, living through his legacy of love for his children and the deep connection he had with friends. Jerry, we remember your laughter, your great cooking, your generosity, your humanity. Our lives are richer for knowing and loving you. Rest In Peace.

It has been 5 years since Jerry's passing and the sense of loss really has not diminished. I truly valued Jerry's humor, expertise and most importantly his friendship. I think of him often and wonder if there was something that I could have said or done to change the outcome. I hope that his soul is at peace.

Dear Colette and Geoffrey,

I just heard of Jerry's passing. I am so saddened by this loss. Jerry and I sat side by side in every USC class for two years as we worked on our MBA. We were on several study groups and project teams together. We became close friends as we shared many of the same interests around family and sports. We remained friends after graduation and then lost touch a few years ago. He was an incredible person and valued friend. I am at a loss for words. You and your...

I'm so sorry to here of Jerrys's passing, I know that he will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. So throw your burdens upon the Lord and he himself will sustain you.

Dear Colette and Geoffrey,

I don't know if you will remember me as we met only briefly when you were young children. But I wanted to express my condolences to you on the recent loss of your father. I had met Jerry in passing only a couple of times but he seemed to me like a very nice man and gentle soul. I realize that this is a great loss for you and if there is any way in which I might be of assistance in your grief, please let me know.
