Rest in Pease, Butch. Coach Darling

Butch was the definition of a volunteer. Great guy. As a Norwalk Babe Ruth opponent, he´s probably the one guy I wouldn´t have minded losing to! Stamford lost a legend.

To the LaMotta and Stamford Babe Ruth Families, I am so sorry to hear of Butch´s passing. I had the pleasure of working with Butch for many years in my role as Recreation Superintendent. He was a very good guy to work with who always had the best interests of the kids in the BR program at heart. He gave a lot of his time and energy helping BR baseball thrive in Stamford. Rest in peace Butch. You will be missed.
