Mr. Jerry was a great friend and ally of my Father Burney Drew and myself, the family of Burney and Ruth Drew, Michael. David. My deepest sympathies and condolences for your loss. I remember Mr. Jerry coming to our house to talk me into not quitting baseball. I’m glad he did. Several of “his” Evergreen boys went on to win many State Championships at Southside High School.
