Not sure what to say?

I only had the pleasure of knowing Jerry for a relatively short time. He was one of the easiest people to know. Beside being a notable Doctor, he was a compassionate and loveable person. He was very close to his mother, Dorothy Lewis, from whom he inherited his compassion and love for his patients and friends. I am proud to have been able to be among his friends. He will certainly be missed.

I never met Dr. Lewis, but I've met his mother. Upon reading the guest book for Dr. Lewis, I have found his Mom to be the same type of friendly and loving person. I say he's a chip off the old block.

I have moved many times during my adult life and changed "primary care physicians" many times. Never have I found a more caring physician than Dr. Lewis. No matter how busy, he always took the time to listen to you. I have always had the utmost confidence in his opinions. I am truly saddened at his loss, both to his patients, his staff and especially to his family.

I have just learned of Dr. Lewis's death and am saddened for his family. The world is a better place in which to live because of people like Dr. Lewis. He helped me cope when I had problems with my teenage son; I'll never forget Dr. Lewis's taking Kevin to one side and telling him that if he ever needed anyone to talk with to call him.
We will all miss him so much.

Dr. Lewis has been my doctor all of my adult life (over 25 years) and the doctor of most of my family. He stood by me and helped me through very tough times over the last few years. Dr. Lewis never gave up on me and never let me give up on myself. Even when I was in pain, he could always bring a smile to my face. Dr. Lewis you will always have a special place in my heart!! Love always, Dawne

Dr.Lewis,
you will never be replaced in our hearts or lives. The many, many times that you were there for us will always be remembered. Just the way you took our hand and asked
about our lives and family showed that you truly cared and knew that healing comes from all aspects of our lives. We spent hours in your waiting room, but never begruged it. Because we knew that someone else needed you and that you were practicing your very "special kind of care". We always said that you...

I thank God for sending Dr. Lewis through my life. He was my Doctor, friend and teacher when I had to deal with sickness and suffering in my own family. My prayers are with his Dear Family and Staff. God Bless.
