Bradley's Funeral Chapel - Chilhowie Obituary

Chilhowie, VA

Jerry Dewayne Louthian, age 57, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at the Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, TN.

Jerry was born on February 15, 1965 and raised in Chilhowie, VA by his mother Dorothy Stines and his late step-father, Dave Stillwell. Jerry worked for 30 years at the IDC in Atkins, VA and for 28 years at McDonalds until his retirement. Jerry’s love for sports and collecting cards and matchbox cars was never ending. He competed in the Special Olympics. His infectious smile and laughter kept everyone else smiling. The biggest thing about Jerry was his faith in God, that he shared with everyone he met, and the fact that he never met a stranger.

Survivors include, his mother, Dorothy Stines; his brothers: Jimmy Louthian wife Michelle, John Louthian, and Eddie Louthian, all of Chilhowie; sister Sherry Fillhart and husband Shane of Mount Vernon, OH; nieces: Keely Louthian, Tia Angelo, and Hannah Caywood; nephews: Jeffrey Louthian, Johnathan Louthian, Jeremy Angelo, and Trevor Caywood, and special friend Jessica Mullinax.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at the Chilhowie Christian Church, with Pastor Darrell Martin officiating. Burial will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery in Chilhowie. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 PM, on Friday, June 10, 2022 at the church.  Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.bradleysfh.com.  Bradley’s Funeral Chapel is serving the Louthian family.
