Jerry Dewayne Louthian, age 57, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at the Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, TN.
Jerry was born on February 15, 1965 and raised in Chilhowie, VA by his mother Dorothy Stines and his late step-father, Dave Stillwell. Jerry worked for 30 years at the IDC in Atkins, VA and for 28 years at McDonalds until his retirement. Jerry’s love for sports and collecting cards and matchbox cars was never ending. He competed in the Special Olympics. His infectious smile and laughter kept everyone else smiling. The biggest thing about Jerry was his faith in God, that he shared with everyone he met, and the fact that he never met a stranger.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at the Chilhowie Christian Church, with Pastor Darrell Martin officiating. Burial will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery in Chilhowie. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 PM, on Friday, June 10, 2022 at the church. So sorry to hear about Jerry. He used to always stop by our house when we were growing up to play basketball, baseball or just talk. Hard to find a more innocent and genuine person in the world like Jerry.
