Not sure what to say?

My sympathy is extended to all of Jerry's family. I remember him as a fun and likeable boy, and I gather from the other entries that he became even more than that as a man. I have fond recollections of Jerry and Terry and their mother, my school bus driver. All of you are in my prayers.

My Uncle Jerry was a very extraordinary and wonderful man, and I regret not telling him so. I have many precious memories of him, spending time with my brothers and I as we were growing up. Many miles separated us during our teens, but I for one never forgot him or those times together. Janice, Holly and Marlon, I pray that God will grant you peace and understanding, for I know your loss is great. It may be of some comfort to you all to know that many, many people feel a huge loss also. None...

I knew Jerry back in his Hycalog days. He was a dear friend. Holly & Marlon, he loved you guys and was always so proud of you both. Jerry worked hard and played hard and enjoyed making those around him happy. It has been many years since I have seen Jerry, the news of his death hit hard. He was an extra special guy. I know he will be missed. My deepest sympathy to his family. You are in my thoughts & prayers. Lean on the Lord to carry you through this difficult time.

Jerry was a good man with a big heart. He gave me a Job with NL Hycalog and was a good boss / friend. Jerry lived live to the fullest. I am a better man for knowing him.

First and foremost, myself, Leslie, Jeremy and Jackson were deeply saddened by the news of my Uncle's passing and our thoughts and prayers are with Janice, Holly, Marlon, Grandmommie, Terry, Janelle and all of the extended family. Time and distance apart has not erased the memories that I have of Jerry. I know that he touched many lives including mine and will be missed by us all. In these difficult days ahead, we can all find comfort in God, family and friends. My thoughts and prayers...

I am shocked and saddened to hear the news of Jerry's passing. I loved him very much and enjoyed every time we spent together eating his amazing cooking and laughing into the night. What a warm and caring man he was and he will be missed.

I just got word about Jerry's death. We spent a lot of time together in Shreveport having a great time. Some times too much fun.My thought's are with the family today. He was a very special person and will be missed by all who knew him.

Our hearts and prayers go out to Jerry's family. Don & I attended the service and Janice, it was beautiful! Your sister did an outstanding job. Jerry will be greatly missed by all!

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I grew up in Trinity Heights Baptist Church with Jerry (and Terry) and shared many classrooms and school bus rides with Jerry -- elementary through high school. I have many fond and humorious memories of Jerry as a childhood friend. The alphabetized class rolls placed the three of us
together a lot.
