Not sure what to say?

Jerry was such a kind, wonderful person. He taught my daughter, Claire for six years & she misses him dearly. Our prayers and thoughts to your family.

To Jerry's family,
I am so very sorry to hear about your father's death! I spoke with him while he was staying at your home and tried to reach himagain a couple of weeks ago. Your dad meant so much to me. He taught me to play the piano again as anadult when I moved to Cary five years ago. I treasured that hour a week that I spent with him not only as a piano teacher, but as a person. Sometimes I would say to let me pay him to just listen to him play! He had a heart of gold and I'm...

Jerry McLendon, you are beloved!!!! To Jerry's family: Oh, he has touched SO many people in bringing them a love of music - he taught us piano as his life's work to connect people to God. Jerry, you instilled in us all a complete, full-body, soul-engaged joy of being able to express via thegratitude and range of emotion coming through as we play (and learn, and are challenged beautifully by) piano.

What a teacher. Jerry would give you fullest attention and decades of...

Ronda,
Sorry to hear about your dad. Our prayers are with you.

Rest Peacefully, Jerry. You were the first person to teach me where my fingers should rest on a piano, and how to add fire to make music turn into emotions.

Jerry was such a warm, caring person and teacher. His love for and his vast knowledge of all types of music were truly inspirational. He can play the organ and piano now, without pain, to a heavenly audience. I will miss him.

To the Family of Jerry McLendon,
I am so sorry for your loss. May the God of all comfort be with you during this difficult time.
