Not sure what to say?

Mr, Jerry Meatyard We both had dinner one afternoon you me and Ruth you changed my world in so many ways. If you only gave me the chance to get to know you. Life could have been better in so many ways. I know Your with our God and family and other love ones may you always have the peace you needed. May our God Bless you and all your family here until you all meet in Heaven and be with our God.

Mr. Meatyard was my professor at HCC when I was dual enrolled during high school. He was an inspiring, amazing teacher for this young art kid. I know I was just one of the thousands he inspired.

I remember him very well, especially as my favorite teacher of all time. My art teacher in high school, Jerry gave me the gift of a college level appreciation of art which lasted a lifetime, and he did it with knowledge, cleverness, and a dry wit to make it indelible. I never forgot him as the best....he will be sorely missed!! My deepest condolences to the family.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

I wish I could of have had the chance to get to know you better. May God watch over you and your family.
I know your with God now so watch over the rest of your family.

was part of my grade (I'mhopin) climbing up those stairs and , for the sake of quickly dismantling, throw the old Remington down from the top of the stairs)

Thank you Mr. Meatyard for being my fantastic high school art teacher! I wish I could have told you of my gratitude for your inspiration that helped me be a high school teacher for 30 years and now an artist. I think of you often and thank God you were my teacher. Rest In Peace Sir, thank you for believing in me.
