Though we personally did not know DAD very well, he was a GREAT part of my brother, Joe's life! He was a rock in a sea of turmoil for our Family and what started out as friendship - soon transitioned to the Mitchell's becoming Family to us.

Our condolences to the Mitchell family. We have many fond memories of Jerry and Joanne who we used to golf with at Travis Pointe. Jerry was always a fun person to be with and travel with. We particularly enjoyed our Cost Rica trip where we had a lot of laughs together. We regret that we will be unable to pay our respects at his memorial service because of prior commitments, but will keep him and the family in our prayers.

Jerry was a wonderful man. He had been a neighbor of mine at the Crescent of Travis Point for a very long time and will miss him very much. I am glad I had the chance to talk with him on the phone a little over a week ago to reconnect before his passing.
