Jerry W. Morris

Entered Eternal Life on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at the age of 70 years. Preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Sybil Morris, and his brothers Calvin and Donald. Jerry is survived by his wife Hedy, his children Gabrielle (Kerry), Samara (Chris), and Andy (the late Pa), and his grandchildren Daniel, Angilee, Caitlin, and Lucy. He is further survived by his siblings Patricia, Debra, Pamela, Timmy, and Tommy, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Born in Brownsville, Tennessee and raised in Milwaukee, Jerry’s journey through life was one marked by love and a commitment to helping others. Before his retirement, he worked as an Oxygen Technician, providing not just the care they needed, but a sense of comfort and compassion that made him beloved by all who met him. Jerry was active in the recovery community and whether speaking at meetings or mentoring young individuals on their path to recovery, Jerry was a beacon of hope, inspiring others to find strength and resilience in the face of adversity. Jerry’s faith was a cornerstone of his life. 

Since 2018, he was an active member of the St. Eugene Congregation, where he served as a devoted usher and greeter. His warm welcome and genuine smile made everyone feel at home, and his presence in the congregation was a testament to his deep connection to his faith and his community. 

He cherished his family above all else and enjoyed trips to Door County. Jerry’s outgoing personality and infectious kindness were felt by all who knew him. His ability to make others feel special, heard, and cared for is a legacy that will live on in the hearts of his loved ones and the countless individuals he helped along the way. He was a friend, a mentor, and a guiding light, and his impact will never be forgotten.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20, 2025 from 9:00AM to 10:00AM at St. Eugene Congregation (7600 N. Port Washington Rd. Fox Point, WI 53217) followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM. Following the Mass, a procession will take place to Graceland Cemetery for the interment at 11:30AM. A repass will take place at St. Eugene's Congregation after the burial beginning at 1:00PM.
