Jerry P. Nelson

Jerry and I were friends for a long time. We rode Honda's together and worked in Seattle on summers staying with my brother and his wife. He was a great guy and I'm very sorry his past away. I met up with him when I lived in Bellingham when I lived there for awhile. Jerry and Pat were great together. Rest in piece my dear friend.

I worked with Jerry at WCC, he always accommodated by last minute needs with a smile. I really enjoyed our visits during our workday and his quirky personality. Rest peacefully, Jerry.

Never had a bad word to say about Jerry. He was a bff of my brother Dennis and we all admired his tenacity to keep on trucking and to jump in during difficult times.

I met Jerry in the mid-1980's when he was advocating with the Port of Bellingham for greater accessibility for people with disAbilties. The Port was undergoing a major renovation at that time and somehow overlooked the need to put an elevator on the two level new promenade along the water front.
