Jerry Francis Nolan DDS

Jerry Francis Nolan, D.D.S. of Glenview, passed away September 28, 2012; born November 2, 1930 to Michael and Siobhan of Kerry, Ireland. Beloved husband of Juleann "Judy" Nolan nee Moylan; beloved father of Eileen Henderson, Jerry F. (Katie)Nolan Jr.,Mary Beth (Tony) Schirmang, Michael (Jody), Timothy (Monica), Patricia (Kelly) Udelhofen; cherished grandfather of 18 Neil, Danny, Margaret, Eleanor, Kathleen, Tony, Casey, Meghan, Molly, Patrick, Breghan, Keeley, Morgan, Viviana, David, Sam, Shaelyn, and Maeve; proud great grandfather of Olivia and Paige; dear brother of the late Tom Nolan and the late Annette Patten. Dr. Nolan was a graduate of Help of Christians, St. Ignatius High School, University of Illinois (Navy Pier), and Loyola University School of Dentistry,1956. Veteran of US Navy (Great Lakes). He practiced dentistry in Glenview for 46 years. He was an active member of St. Catherine Laboure, Glenview where he was the chairman of "Port of Call" fundraisers. Charter member of Chicago Bombers (a west side softball team) and an avid handball player and golfer. He loved to spend time in Lake Geneva playing golf. Dr. Nolan was dedicated to his family, friends and patients. Visitation Tuesday, October 2nd from 4 to 8pm at N.H. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home, 1240 Waukegan Rd., Glenview (just south of Lake Ave. on west side). Funeral mass Wednesday, October 3rd at 10am at St. Catherine Laboure, 3535 Thornwood, Glenview. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to El Nino Rey, C/O St. Norbert Parish, 1809 Walters Ave., Northbrook, IL 60062 are greatly appreciated.
