I had the honor of playing in the Black Band in Trenton high school . I knew even then that Jerry was extremely talented . He was not only a great band leader and teacher , but a great saxophonist.

Jerry was my teacher at Bucks County Community College. He was a very nice man and I enjoyed learning from him and working with him later on at Bucks when I was employed there. I have a picture of him with me at the graduation commencement when I attended Bucks as a student. He was a great musician and teacher. May he rest in peace. My condolences to the family.
