Not sure what to say?

Jerry, I have ton of memories of you since we met on Beacon Hill ( Seattle ) in early June, 1967. We had such great times playing baseball, whiffleball, fastpitch softball, and we were tough to beat as first a doubles handball team and then a foos ball doubles team. When I went off to Vietnam for two years Tina and Jerry would send off the best ''Care'' packages which I will never forget their kindness. Jerry was the type of friend very few had, but a friend that everyone should experience.

Tina,
I spoke to Karen Lockhart at UPS and she mention that your husband had died. I was sorry to hear that he had died. May God bless and keep his arms around you and your family.

God bless you, Jerry and your mom and family. I have such good memories of you...and a picture of you in a sleeping bag in my backyard on Palm Street, MHAFB.

I was very shocked to read about Jerrys passing on our high school web site..I haven't seen him since 64 and always woundered where he was and how he was doing..was hopeing to see him at the last reunion but didn't..Jerry was kind, thoughtfull and sharing..my prayers and thoughts to the whole family..

The news of Jerry's death was posted on our high school class of '65 website. I walked down the aisle at graduation with Jerry. He was such a good buddy in high school. I didn't realize until reading his obituary that he was born on the same day as my high school sweetheart Chuck King...and ultimately the same day as my daughter! My condolences to Jerry's family. He lived a wonderful life, although much too short.

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost track of Jerry after the war. I have a picture of six of us high school friends on my desk. Jerry is in the middle with that big smile of his. I could send you a copy of this picture if you like. I wish I could have said good bye. My prayers are with you.

Tina, Deena, Jodi, and Shane . . .

Our sorrow is on many levels, but especially at the loss of our brother and our friend. We know Jerry’s strength will help you through your loss, and our love goes out to you and Jerry’s extended family in a difficult time.

With our love,

Dear Tina, Deena, Jodi & Shane, I am so sorry for your loss. I hadn't seen Jerry in years but I have fond memories of his smile, kindness, and good nature.
My thoughts are with you.
With Love, Charmaine

Tina and family,

I knew Jerry briefly over 40 years ago and I remember how warm and loving he was. I hope you can let your sweet memories of him sustain you in your time of grief and may they give you bright roses in your Decembers ahead.

My heart goes out to all of you.
