I'm sorry to hear about Jerry's passing. It won't be the same without him in our senior scramble group each month at Chase. He will be dearly missed.

I´m a cousin of Jerry´s and haven´t seen him in several years. My memories are of when I was a kid and he was a teenager. Our families did get togethers when we were younger. My sympathies to his family and Becky´s family. I´m in FL for the winter or I would attend his memorial.

I am sorry to read about the passing of Jerry. Over the years at this time I would get a call about the upcoming golf tournament dates. Jerry would be the first to sign up for the county tournament. Jerry was a great guy, besides golf stories we would swap stories about Vietnam. He will be missed.

Jerry (known to us as JP), was a major part of the Z-Tire fast pitch softball team. JP was a special player. He was also a very skilled golfer. He could explain, in great detail, the golf swing, as well as showing you how it should be done. He´s probably giving a "golf clinic" in Heaven to the angels right now. Rest in peace, my friend.

We will miss Jerry so much in our Tuesday morning church golf league. I loved golfing with Jerry and I´ll miss him saying "That´s a Par". Gods got a brand new set of clubs for you Jerry. Hit them straight.

I met Jerry at MCC when I returned from Vietnam in 1970 to go back to college. We were in the Vietnam Veterans club that was started at school and remained friends ever since. We played fastpitch softball for many years together and golfed in many outings. He was never at a loss for words and he would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He was truly on of a kind and I will miss him.

Jerry was a great friend of mine with whom I spent many days golfing. He was very good at the game, truly followed the rules, and often spoke of the pleasure he had playing with his sons. We will miss you.

I graduated with Jerry. I remember his quick smile and blond locks. My memory was his athletic ability and accomplishments in track and field specifically pole vault. He was a kind and thoughtful friend during those years. Once a US Marine always a Marine says a lot about his character particularly during the Vietnam Era. I have not seen him since then but he and his family will be in my prayers.
