Not sure what to say?

I never knew you. But learned about you through Anderson Cooper and CNN. Rest in peace.

To Jerry's family,

We just saw the CNN production on Katrina and we're in shock. We had no idea it was Jerry who died. We would like to reach out to the family to share some wonderful stories about Jerry. He was truly a man of honor and integrity and we were honored to know him. Years before Katrina Jerry helped me get ready for a hurricane in NO and I had to beg him to leave town to take care of his family and leave the rest to me. It was just the type of man he was - always there...

Jerry, I'm remembering your dad today. I think about all the good times we all had together. Fats was one brother-in-law that one can never forget.

To the family & friends : What a friend ! I met Jerry through acquaintance's of ours. He'd always have that smile of "Glad to see you and a conversation " .That was Jerry ! He's missed on a daily basis by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.Respectfully ; Michael G. Dejoie ( Frenchmen St.)

Hey Daddy,
It is a year today, and it still hurts. I miss you so much. We still talk about all the things you used to do.~
I can remember like it was yesterday~
You carrying me from the breezeway at elementary school when it rained so I wouldn't get wet. And, carrying me from my bed to the bathroom so my feet won't be cold. Laying on the living room floor eating boiled shrimps with ketchup & hot sauce. writing contracts, going to the race track, getting poboys from St Roch...

He was like my dad. I will miss you Uncle Fat.
