Mr. Jerry Peterson

I knew Jerry when he was here in the Chicago area working on WGN. he had a great sense of humor and we had several things in common.

Each time we see a `big boomer´I see Jerry giving us all the info of weather,miss him so much.

Just thinking of Jerry today. I sure miss this kind special person who could make the weather forecast be an enjoyable thing to look forward to and watch. Always loved seeing and hearing him do his part of the show. Here in 2023, you are still not forgotten! Blessings to those of his family still left behind. I woke up early every day just to see you and when you gave me that autographed picture of you I felt like I had won the lottery. I had no idea you had passed until just now, but I had to let you know how much you impacted my life. I love weather and think of you often. Reading your obituary brought tears to my eyes... My sincere condolences to the Peterson family on the death of 'THE WEATHERMAN' JERRY PETERSON. When I read of someone who lived a full life such as your love one, It reminds me of God's friend Abraham (Genesis 25:8) “Then Abraham expired and died in a good old age, old and satisfied, and was gathered to his people.”
